Hello crafty friends!
Today Altenew is celebrating the release of the Artist Marker Refills with a really fun and inspiring blog hop! Lots of great projects using the Artist Marker Refills like alcohol inks or just to refresh the markers.

I decided to play with mine on some alcohol ink cardstock and create a couple of backgrounds with beautiful shade of blue and purple.
Then I used the Inked Flora coordinating dies to cut out some leaf shapes out of my inky background.
To turn these lovely leaves into cards, I stamped a few flowers from the Ethereal Beauty set and cut them out with the coordinating dies.
I did different arrangement on each card and finished them off using different styles of sentiments. On this first card I used a sentiment from the Label Love stamp set.
For my next card, I due cut a “thank you” sentiment using the lovely Simply Thank You die.
Last but not least, I combined my flower with some splatters from the Watercolor Frames stamp set and a couple of vellum leaves, cut using the Build-a-Flower: Anemone Coronaria die set. Then I just finished it off with a sentiment from the Inked Flora stamp set.

My favorite color in the Altenew Markers is Midnight Violet. I would love to see an Amethyst and/or Royal Purple color added. Yep, I love the purple shades lol.
These are just beautiful! I don’t have any Altenew markers, sadly. But anything in the purple family
would be my favorite. Or teal. lol So any new ones in either color family would be great for me.

As for favorite refill color (there’s so many!), I have to say I love the blue color you used here. I love these beautiful colors together! These refills are on my wishlist, which I will need eventually because I have the Artist Markers. loll I use the red and blue markers the most.

Ooo, I love your purple and blue color choices. Those are a fabulous combo. I also really like the idea of the bright, abstract leaves against the more muted, but detailed flowers. That’s a really nifty design choice, and I’m going to have to try that sometime. Thank you for sharing with us!
